At our house birthdays aren't just a day. What would the fun be in that? Really you can start claiming it's your birthday several days before and continue for as many after the actual event. I think Sadie really takes the cake as far as how many times a birthday can be celebrated. We opened presents with mom and Meagan, we took treats into her class on her birthday, we did treats at her soccer game that night, and yesterday we had her birthday party. She might not be done with her birthday but I am done and done. However, I will save all my stories of frustration (broken 9x13 full of cupcakes, and oh so much more) for another day. Sadie was Super Star in February and I wrote up a little Bio and I thought I would post it on here. That way we will get to remember our little Sade.
Sadie Stinchfield is an amazing girl. She is so funny, she keeps our family laughing all the time. Sadie has so much energy that when you ask her to hold still she can't, she has to wiggle something- even if it is just her toes.
Sadie helps take care of our family. She plays with her sisters, sings songs to her brother, and does lots of jobs for her mommy. She especially loves the singing and playing part. Sadie has a beautiful voice and knows lots of songs.
Sadie loves to jump on the trampoline, color, cook with mommy, read stories, ride her bike and her scooter, play her D.S., and watch movies. Sadie also loves to play games. Two of her favorite games are Penguin Plunge and Schwartz Pirate. She also likes to play games in the car, like 20 questions and Brain Quest, and a game where one person starts a story and everyone adds to it.
Sadie has lots and lots of aunts and uncles and cousins and she loves to go visit them. When we are here in Germany by ourselves Sadie and her sister Jane plan all week for "sleepovers." These are on the weekends- they dress up, do their hair and their make up, eat special treats, watch fun movies, and sleep on the couch with their pillows and blankets. They have a great time.
Sadie is a wonderful kid. We love her very much. Her daddy loves her and misses her and can't wait to be back home with his Sadie. We are so glad Sadie is part of our family.
