A Future Saved Soul?

Most likely not... But I am attempting to make myself feel better. Sunday morning the kids and I all rushed out the door to get to church on time. As we came out of the gate and turned toward the van we were met with a very sad scene. My driver's side window was shattered all over the road. For just a moment I held out hope that it was some terrible accident, but alas, it was not. My church bag was gone, another tote, my purse (which held inside my smaller purse and my wallet, our Garmin, and some running gear we had in the center console. In a not so cool way I told my kids to get back into the house while I called the police. One of us called Mike. I spent the next hour calling banks and credit card companies. A pain in the butt on a Sunday. Thankfully, nothing had been used. No money gone. I am sad about the whole thing. It scared the girls, we all feel a little less secure. March already?

I can not believe we are already to March and March 6th at that! I am so grateful that the girls had a midwinter break and that I was able to just sort of chill and recover a bit more from my surgery because ever since then I feel like I have been sprinting- in a marathon. So youngest to oldest- Sawyer- Lives for Pre-school. He loves it so much. Every day he wakes up and asks if today is pre-school. He now gets himself dressed every morning because he can't wait till I have time to help. I am so glad we decided to do this, it has been so fun. Sadie told me that maybe she should homeschool so she can do our projects with us. She also asked if I had taught them homophones yet. Nope, that's for next week. Sawyer is as loving and sweet as ever. You should see his "sad face," those big brown eves would melt anyone's heart.
