Kids are great. Jane is dying because everyone is moving to Washington. I just feel incredibly lucky that we will only be 11 hours away. That is amazing considering the last 12 years we have lived days and days away. It will be SWEET!! If we ever get there. Funny story- I went with the kids to H&M the other day to get a bikini top to go under my swimsuit. I have a more than ample chest right now and my friend Amy says that my swimsuit (when I'm not wearing a tank top over the top, which I was) says "I want action" more than "modest mormon mom." So... until I am done nursing I am going for the layered look. Anyway, went to get a top. Tons of bikini tops on hangers covering one wall. Sadie looks around and says, "okay what size?" HI fam, just me. I have had a good week, but, you know nothing knew. We got another puppy and his name is Joe. Joe Kingman. Off of Game plan. He didn't really MOVE the first day and a half, but my mom gave him a serious trim and he is now playful and cute. He was probably just nervous. Sawyer has a little sore under his nose from banging his face into the side of his crib. It looks really pathetic. Well it is hot and humid today so all the kids are kind of drained. I think I'm going to set up the sprinkler for them. I gave the new dog a major haircut out on the back porch today and now he is so cute. I was seriously worried that we had just dropped that much money on a seriously ugly dog. He is also showing a lot more personality today. We aren't calling him "log" anymore! I think holding him and petting him and talking to him for about an hour while I cut his hair today really helped. CPT. Dykma called up "there" this morning and they said it should be 2-3 days to a week. He said he could call up there once a day if I would like and so I told him that would be great. It's 11:45 and Ellyn is wide awake. She took a long Sunday nap at our friend's house and now she's rearin' to go. Jane and Sawyer are asleep and Sadie is fading fast. Today was very warm and we are all a little sweaty and tired. We had a great afternoon and evening. We went to our friend's, the Najdawi's, and had a very simple dinner. They are leaving for the states for a month and we are trying to eat everything out of our freezer so the two of us combined food from our fridges and freezers for dinner. Then we played this lawn game (I need to learn the name) and let the kids jump on the tramp. Sawyer was trying to eat every leaf and twig he could find on the lawn. It was a really nice way to spend a very hot Sunday. I taught Relief Society today. It was based on Pres. Monson's closing remarks at General Conference, "Abundantly Blessed." Okay. I felt like I just lost one of my best friends. Is that silly? I cried waiting to give the woman my keys and sign the bill of sale. That vehicle has been everywhere, four years and 80,000 miles. He's travelled from Georgia to Washington, from the Gulf Coast to the Oregon Coast, Savannah and Charleston, Denver, Salt Lake, Portland, Seattle, the Rockies, the Cascades, and the Alps. Italy twice, Austria, France twice, England, little countries in between, all over Germany. We have had so many great family trips and yet there have also been so many times I have driven all alone with the kids and never had a moment's worry. He has been so reliable. You served us well, goodbye Sky Captain. You will be missed.

I need to write more often or there is way too much to catch up on. For one, I can't remember what I've written and what I haven't. So I might be like some little old granny repeating her stories over and over. Last week was the last week of school. We, here at our house, felt like it should have been done the week before. I swear I could not get the kids to bed or up in the morning with any kind of regularity at all. It was crazy. Saturday we had two BBQs at the same time, one for Sadie's soccer team and one for H Co. That was fun but busy. Sunday we took the train into Furth(near Nurnburg) with two other families from our ward for stake conference. It was really fun to travel on the trains and since Brother Edwards knew exactly where to go I didn't have to worry at all. Stake conference was an experience. Yesterday I had a good day. We ran some errands and found a place that we think we might sell our car from. Went to the PX because I remembered that my friend had told me that she had seen a whole bunch of trampolines. We went there and the PX said they would call us and they left an answer on our answering machine, (well, at least they said they did), and they were supposed to save one for us and they did. So, we took it home and arranged for my best friend's family to come over and help us set it up. We took it out and it seemed too light, so my mom looked at customer reviews. Non of them were good, so we took apart the small part that we had put together in the box to take it back today. Earlier in the day my friends mom had bought a watermelon. She offered to cut it up and bring it over here. So we did that and... me and my friend had an idea. We are doing a summer party in my back yard. It is 10:45 and I am waiting for several loaves of banana bread to cool so that I can wrap them up before I go to sleep. I asked Jane and Shyah if they wanted to make the bread for Ellyn's teachers for tomorrow and they did. But... they also wanted to ensure that they would get banana bread as well. You should see my kitchen, and the HUGE bowl of batter still in my fridge. The good news is that we made it gluten free and so I will be able to freeze some of it for Ellyn. The batter tasted kind of funky but I added some more ripe bananas (I have about 20 in my freezer) and some of my yummy vanilla from Mexico and it didn't turn out half bad (we sampled one of the mini loaves before bed). Now that I have confessed to both my mother and mother-in-law I thought I would show you the newest addition to the Stinchfield family. In case anyone is worried about where this poor guy will go when we are done with him, Meagan has volunteered (I'm kidding Jane). I think small is the answer to our military life. I promised the girls that once we got back to the states we could get a Yorkie but they are over $2,000 cheaper here and can fly with us. So here's Cody.

First of all, Jane and I obviously have anger management issues. Contrary to what some might believe, we aren't really a violent family. Just emotional. Now everyone knows what my husband has to deal with on a regular basis. So I am about to post a few pictures. I don't know what order they are going to be in so I will explain them now. One is of Jane and Sadie Sadie just lost her top front tooth night before last (I think I've mentioned that). If Jane looks teary it's because she is, she was very sad that her little sister was growing up so quickly. The others are a series of pics of Ellyn. Last night Jane had the camera out and Ellyn was so excited. She would run across the room, stand about 6 inches away from the camera, and as soon as the light started flashing she would smile a big smile. It was about the sweetest thing you've ever seen. Sorry we have had a busy week, but I have no excuse. We had Sadie's birthday week and that was harder than it should of been. I appreciate how hard my mom works. I do not know she deals with stuff like this. Sadie's friend, Sofia spent the night before the party and that same night Shea called and asked us to come pick up Shyah and her little brother, Josh. They were good. The last night that they were here, Saturday, we were eating ice cream and Ellyn was doing her babbling and Josh walked over and asked she was being such an idiot doing her"bababa" thing. It made me so sad to see a happy, wonderful sister being talked to like that. I love her so much. To be honest really wanted walk over, slap him and start yelling, but some how I held it in. A new week begins and I can only hope that it is better than last week. I think that has been my hardest week since Mike left. I know that sounds stupid, we had sunshine and Sadie's birthday but I reached melt down point a couple of times. I think it was the heat (no AC in the house, Sawyer teething and having fevers for two days and I knew he was feeling miserable, and then the pressure of putting together a birthday party. It shouldn't be that hard right? Well I just copied my Friday night and Saturday morning adventures from an e-mail to Mike and I will copy it now- Did you try to call today? Maybe tonight. At our house birthdays aren't just a day. What would the fun be in that? Really you can start claiming it's your birthday several days before and continue for as many after the actual event. I think Sadie really takes the cake as far as how many times a birthday can be celebrated. We opened presents with mom and Meagan, we took treats into her class on her birthday, we did treats at her soccer game that night, and yesterday we had her birthday party. She might not be done with her birthday but I am done and done. However, I will save all my stories of frustration (broken 9x13 full of cupcakes, and oh so much more) for another day. Sadie was Super Star in February and I wrote up a little Bio and I thought I would post it on here. That way we will get to remember our little Sade. Sadie Stinchfield is an amazing girl.
