Almost a week already?

I swear I just wrote and yet it is two hours away from Wednesday again. You know sometimes I like to pretend that no one reads my blog and I just ignore the fact that I have anyone reading and then sometimes I just want to write directly to my family and friends that read the blog. I'm fickle like that I guess. This past weekend just seemed really great to me. Friday I felt really ill, just a bad cold but I chose to just stay down for the day and try to recover (cold mostly gone in 3 days by the way)so Friday night we did a pizza night. Aunt Jackie, I'm having the same problem with Fit for Life. I keep expanding my free days and also I am eating way out of control on the free day. A binge if you will. I need to rein in again. Superbowl Sunday and Valentine's Day did not help at all! Which brings me back to pizza night. I saw an ad for $10 pizzas from Pizza Hut. Domino's pizza- fine. Papa John's- I can pass, but when I saw that Pizza Hut special I had to ...

Blue Skies Smilin' at Me

My sister is here for one more day. She is loved. You want to know why? She came down to see blue skies (and us of course). It rained the whole week before she came, it has been sunny the entire week she has been here, rain is forecasted for the 10 days after she leaves. God must know that a woman that is 8 months pregnant with her 5th child and is longing for a little sun needs it. We have played hard every day, any surprise there? No. Meags brought her two youngest, Wil and Hazel, and the little cousins have loved being together. Sawyer idolizes Wil. Hazel can't get enough of Jane and her make up. The swing set we traded our old washer for has come in mighty handy. It is set up in our courtyard, taking up a great deal of space, but well worth it. Wil, Sadie, Hazel, and Sawyer have spent hours playing outside in our beautiful weather. Story- yesterday Isabella and I took Ellie out on her walk. Ellyn seemed excited until we started walking and then she was teary and t...

What a Week

This has been a week of the good, the bad, and the ugly. Mike- has spent the week studying long, long hours for midterms. He has been tired and stressed. Today, with everything finally done he was able to relax and by relax I mean he washed and vacuumed both of our cars and worked out- hey, it wasn't school related. He continues to shed the pounds and has become a convert to healthy eating. Not really something I ever thought I would see on this earth. It's pretty cool and we've really enjoyed doing this "diet" together. Jane- has her big Honor's Band Concert tomorrow afternoon and for the last several days she has been gone into the late evening or afternoon (depending on the day) practicing her little heart out. She told me today, with a little chuckle, that she never wants to see a flute again. We've sent her off to school every day with extra snacks, water, and a tube of blistex . I am excited for the concert tomorrow. I can't wait to see...

Work Out Clothes

This week I will be wearing my running clothes to way too many public places. It's either that or cancel my runs. I vote "run" and everyone, including myself will have to deal. Commissary today, Aquarium with Ellyn tomorrow, YW meeting Thursday. I'm sure everyone will love the aroma!
