It almost never happens here, but it is in the 80s and 90s and it is warm- for us. I don't mind, as long as I can hang out in the shade while the kids play in the water table, I'm happy. It doesn't bother my sleep either, I wish I could say the same for the rest of my little family. Now our run this morning was a little too warm for me, which is scary because I know St. George will probably be warmer. We ran 12 miles and I was pretty much hating life the whole time. We ran 16 last week and I felt GREAT!!! Of course this is also the week that two of Mike's buddies joined us on the run and I felt like the gasping, whimpy wife trailing oh, so slightly behind (and occasionally not quite so slightly). It serves me right, I did not train like I should have this past week. I became complacent.
