I really don't have too much to tell you about today but I will start and see where that takes me k? I met a cool couple in church today. They are young, have two little kids. He sought me out after Sacrament Meeting, they heard we had just come from Germany and that is where they are going in April. He is a Navy Seal and going to school at the DLI. We talked for a bit about Germany and then I went into the Mother's Lounge to nurse Soy Boy and his wife was in there. We talked some more. They are anxious to get as much info. as they can. It was nice to talk about Germany again, I miss it.
But... it was another beautiful day here. We came home from church and ate leftover pasta and I unpacked more kitchen boxes. Do you know what is difficult? Trying to organize a kitchen and keep it clean after every meal. Basically that is true about the whole house. I unloaded a few pieces of crystal and put it on the shelf. I decided that if we don't use it while we are here I am just giving it to Goodwill. We have carted it around for 15 years almost. There are some pieces we've used before but others that I don't think we ever have.
We went to the Ellison's for dinner and had a really nice time. They live on the other side of the valley, at the very top. It is a gorgeous view. As I told you their kids are 12, 9, and twin 7 year olds. They had lots of toys for Sawyer and Ellyn and everything was kid friendly and it was so nice to just relax and not be hovering over Ellyn and Sawyer the whole time. I think they might be family board game material. The kids all get along really well. They played outside for quite a while and then they watched Planet Earth together, the girls were pretty excited that someone else knew about Planet Earth. Sadie and Maggie were very cute together. So good for my Sadie to have a friend. They are a family of strawberry blonds by the way.
Do you know what is funny? Two of the girls that Jane has become closest to so far are both strawberry blonds. What are the odds?
Dinner was delicious and we had brownies for dessert. They were soooo good and they were just from a box, but I have obviously suffered from brownie depravation. I could have taken out the entire pan by myself and I am not exaggerating. The mix is at Costco and I will be getting it very, very soon.
Well I think that covers it. You know that 5:30 is whaay too early for me and so I must leave you now. I have to get my beauty sleep. I have to look gorgeous for unpacking boxes and calling registrars tomorrow. I love you Mike.
