Tomorrow

Yesterday I went in for my... ahem... yearly woman's exam. It was going rather swimmingly. Honestly, I love the nurse practioner at my dr.'s office. Best bedside manner ever, hands down. A very real woman and funny and we were joking about stretch marks while she was checking my ovaries. Suddenly there was a shot of pain in the right side of my abdomen. It startled us both, it was so unexpected. So... now I have to go in for an ultrasound tomorrow, which should reveal a cyst. We'll see what happens from there. The point I am attempting to make is that it's really bizarre that pain was just laying dormant in my body ready to inflict itself upon me with a mere pressing of the fingertips and I had no idea.

I am hoping that tomorrow I will have my ultra sound and they will say it is a small cyst that will go away and I will be on my merry way.

Other news- Sadie and Ellyn are still a bit worn down from being sick last week. Ellyn is sleeping alot. Another contributing factor is that Ellie's aide is assisting her in staying involved in everything and she's expending a great deal of energy.

Jane's friend Charlotte has decided they are not friends any more and is doing her best to make Jane's life miserable. Luckily Jane is handling it well and has a great group of friends at church that keep her very happy. Unfortunately she is learning the hard way that if you do everything with one friend and when that goes awry you might not have other friends to hang out with. I think she has enough to make her feel comfortable still.

Sawyer- once a month Sawyer and I and sometimes the girls go to a nursing home near our church to visit two sisters from our ward. Sawyer is a big hit and he's getting the hang of the place. He even reached up to have Sister Taylor hold him on her lap. She was absolutely thrilled. We took Sister Haven for a walk today and he obediently walked right beside her wheelchair all through the halls and on the outside path without ever running off. He was greeted with lots of smiles and waves and pretty much enjoyed celebrity status throughout his visit.

We enjoyed our stay and then raced to Costco for a marathon trip before heading home to meet Ellyn's bus. Ellie's teacher came for a home visit and then Sawyer, Ellyn, and I snuck in a little nap-40 minutes for me. Greatly needed. Then I helped Sadie with her homework, made dinner for Jane's "Dinner for Two" activity at the church tonight while Rebecca came and tried to keep Ellyn awake for a little while watching Bolt with Sadie. Mike took Jane to YW, Rebecca stayed for dinner, then it was baths and American Idol. My sister in law Marnie, has a friend on Idol. Adam Lambert is awesome and it has been really fun to watch him. I'm going to get to bed before 11 tonight so "Peace Out." Oh, by the by, I listened to a segment on NPR about all the different ways you can say goodbye in hiphop/rapper lingo and I am going to be using a few to sign out of my blogs. I can never just say- The End. It should be exciting- I have a few favorites.

The situation with Jane makes me feel so sad. I hate this part of life: middle school girl issues. We've all been through it and all our girls will go through it. It so tough. Love to Jane.

Good luck with your cyst.

MICHAEL IS COMING HOME TOMORROW!!

My Michael is coming home . You can't just say it. You have to SING it. Tomorrow my tall, strong, gorgeous, husband will be here and it will be beautiful. He will nestle into the life of our family and we will have him with us, here, in our house, in our family . He'll help put on jammies and read stories, and tutor Jane in math. He'll take me on dates and wrestle at least one child during sacrament meeting. He'll snuggle me in bed at night and nuzzle my neck while I'm doing dishes. We'll go for walks and play games and watch movies and do fun family Saturday stuff. He'll help carry a kid down to the car and then he'll drive while I put on my makeup ! We love him, we know how much he loves us. We can't wait! Don't worry, I won't work him to death. I won't make him cook dinner every night for the next 10 months or hand over the kids and take off to the spa for the weekend (tempting, but... no). We just want him HERE. I kee...

Fun weeks!!!

These past two weeks- three weeks have been quite fun. Up till now school has been really hard. With friends and work. This Jenna that I beleive has already been mentioned is really mean to me. We were best friends one day and the next she had made friends with a drama causer/ bad influence and completely dumped me. It's stupid and I really do try to ignore it but it is more than I can handle. Now I'm lonely in school(because we together had a small group of friends) . I have one other friend so that is good. I hope everything straightens out because she is still being rude to me. Tomorrow is flute auditions. I hope that goes well and I also hope I get my braces off tomorrow. Lots of HOPE. Right now I am watching American Idol with my wonderful family who is the best friend I'll always have. I love taking care of my little siblings. They are always so fun and make me so happy. My mom tries so hard to be a an amazing mother and I appreciate her so much. She is my best friend...

Almost a week already?

I swear I just wrote and yet it is two hours away from Wednesday again. You know sometimes I like to pretend that no one reads my blog and I just ignore the fact that I have anyone reading and then sometimes I just want to write directly to my family and friends that read the blog. I'm fickle like that I guess. This past weekend just seemed really great to me. Friday I felt really ill, just a bad cold but I chose to just stay down for the day and try to recover (cold mostly gone in 3 days by the way)so Friday night we did a pizza night. Aunt Jackie, I'm having the same problem with Fit for Life. I keep expanding my free days and also I am eating way out of control on the free day. A binge if you will. I need to rein in again. Superbowl Sunday and Valentine's Day did not help at all! Which brings me back to pizza night. I saw an ad for $10 pizzas from Pizza Hut. Domino's pizza- fine. Papa John's- I can pass, but when I saw that Pizza Hut special I had to ...
