I have this terrible stupid cold and it won't go away. I wanted to sleep in this morning but I was awake at 5:30 coughing up a lung and blowing my nose. I think the neighbor's stupid dog woke me up. They went back to the states for like three weeks or maybe even longer and they have someone coming in and walking it and playing with it and, I thought, spending the night with it. However, no one was obviously there last night and the poor creature barked ALL NIGHT LONG. She really should be hoarse.
So yesterday my friend April and I took the kids for one last trip to playmobil. I love that place. ALL of my kids love it and it's cheaper than going to a movie in the states. Jane thought I had gathered all of the swimsuits so she told me she had them before we left. Ellyn's new cute suit was on the steps to go upstairs. So... Sadie wore her new swim suit (they were all 50% off at the PX and we are moving to Cali after all)(can you do two parenthesis in one sentence, I submit that you can or at least you should be able to, Sadie's swimsuit was supposed to be a tankini, it is but it shows alot of her belly- be prepared for a couple of immodest pics) and Ellyn went EURO, wearing Sadie's underwear after she had filled her diaper with water to the point of explosion. Sawyer loved the water tables and the sand. He's growing up so quickly
If you can gauge the amount of fun we had based on the amount of mess we had on clothes and faces than you should know that we had a great time. My own outfit was sporting icecream, strawberry cream cheese, capri sun, smooshed bagel, sand in my pockets, and had been wet and dry in patches several times throughout the day.
After we got home I worked on scrubbing down our inflatable pool and getting the rest of the water out of the walls (jane and shyah thought that would be better than air, it is in fact, a pain in the butt). We played in the yard, came in and ate and goofed around. I told the girls we were going to bed early but kept stalling and right after scriptures and prayers there was a huge explosion outside. It was the fireworks. I don't even know if they knew we were going to have any so I just kept it quiet. They were launching them from the baseball fields near our house, so we walked down to the end of our cul-d-sac and had a great view.
